Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler (Medicare Advantage) to design enterprise-wide data models that underpin a large healthcare data transformation program. You will collaborate with business leaders, data architects, governance teams, and domain stakeholders to build scalable, analytics-ready data structures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain models.
• "Medicare Advantage" domain knowledge including Members, Providers, Claims, and Risk Adjustment.
• Ability to translate complex business concepts into enterprise data models and consistent definitions.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions, workshops, and cross-functional stakeholder engagements.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, MDM, data quality, and data lineage.
• Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with strategy and objectives.
• Create conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain data models across MA domains.
• Facilitate workshops to establish common definitions, standards, and relationships.
• Align models with governance, MDM, analytics, AI, and reporting initiatives.
• Partner with implementation teams to translate data models into scalable cloud solutions.
