Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler (Medicare Advantage) to design enterprise-wide data models that underpin a large-scale healthcare data transformation. You will collaborate with business leaders, data architects, governance teams, and healthcare domain stakeholders to build scalable, business-aligned data structures enabling analytics, reporting, AI, and operational excellence.

This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across conceptual, logical, physical, and domain models.
• Expertise in Medicare Advantage data domains (Members/Enrollment, Providers/Networks, Claims/Encounters, RAF/HCC).
• Translate business concepts into enterprise data models with clear definitions.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align definitions, standards and relationships.
• Strong governance, metadata, MDM, data quality and data lineage knowledge.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with data strategy and business objectives.
• Create conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain models for Medicare Advantage domains.
• Facilitate workshops to establish business definitions, data standards, and relationships.
• Align models with governance, metadata, MDM, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Partner with implementation teams to translate models into scalable cloud-based solutions.
