Job summary

Cognizant in Nashville is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler for Medicare Advantage to design enterprise-wide data models that underpin a large healthcare data transformation. You will collaborate with business leaders, data architects, governance teams, and domain stakeholders to craft scalable, business-aligned structures for analytics, reporting, AI and operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain-driven modeling.
• Expertise in Medicare Advantage data domains including Members, Providers, Claims, Authorizations, and Risk Adjustment.
• Translate complex concepts into enterprise data models with consistent definitions across stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions, workshops, and cross-functional engagements.
• Strong understanding of governance, metadata, MDM, data quality and lineage.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems (e.g., Databricks).
• Background supporting large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with business objectives.
