Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Client Executive Manager to lead a high-performing sales team focused on new revenue and margin growth for global accounts. You will develop strategic plans, build key relationships, and drive long-range account strategies from a remote US base.

This role requires 8+ years of sales experience, 3+ years in management, and strong negotiation and consultative selling skills. 50% travel outside the home office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 8+ years of industry sales experience.
• 3+ years of sales management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
• Strong strategic planning, account management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with consultative selling and long-range account strategies.
• Ability to hire, lead, and motivate successful sales teams.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead account planning and identify strategic opportunities to expand relationships within large enterprise accounts.
• Review sales strategies and action plans to ensure objectives and ownership are defined.
• Build trusted relationships with key customer leaders across accounts.
• Collaborate with sales teams and internal partners to secure new revenue while protecting existing revenue.
• Develop and maintain account plans and financial forecasts.
• Oversee campaigns to penetrate accounts and identify new opportunities.
• Monitor market trends to inform sales strategies.
• Develop and retain a high-performing team through clear goals and accountability.
