Job summary

Cogent is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across large enterprise accounts in South Florida. You will build the territory, win new logos, expand customers, and establish Cogent as a strategic AI and cybersecurity partner.

This role requires a cybersecurity hunter with strong local market knowledge, established CISO relationships, and the ability to lead both technical evaluations and executive business conversations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in B2B quota carrying sales, including 5+ years in cybersecurity
• Proven ability to win complex deals worth six figures or multi-year engagements
• Existing relationships with CISOs and security buyers in South Florida
• Technical credibility across security, cloud, and AI, with ROI translation
• Willingness to travel and operate in a high-growth, challenger environment

Responsibilities

• Own the territory and exceed ARR and expansion targets
• Build pipeline via outbound, executive relationships, and partners
• Create account plans and multithread with CISOs and executives
• Lead technical evaluations, build quantified business cases, negotiate, close multi-year deals
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success while maintaining forecasts
