Job summary

Community College of Baltimore County is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to provide frontline call center chat and text support for students and faculty across admissions, financial aid, and registration. You will use Banner SIS, Element451 CRM, and other systems to deliver accurate information and a seamless student experience.

The role requires 2+ years of call center experience, an associate degree or 60 credits, and strong communication; bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 transferable college credits with two (2) years of experience, or High School diploma/GED with four (4) years of experience working with students or customers in a service-oriented environment.
• At least three (3) years of call center experience, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficiency with student or organizational information systems to access and update student records and CRM tools to track engagement.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and multiple digital platforms; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide information to students, faculty, administrators and the college community by email and primarily on the telephone.
• Provide day-to-day processing of enrollment-related paperwork.
• Resolve and troubleshoot problems in daily processing of service requests related to enrollment, course selection and refunds.
• Ensure student records are accurate within Banner SIS and Element 451 CRM and assist in updates as needed.
• Document interactions with students in Element451 CRM and escalate queries as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
