Job summary

Frederick Community College in Frederick, MD is seeking an Enrollment Services Specialist to serve as the front-line representative for prospective and current students. The ideal candidate has strong customer service experience, basic office software skills, and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in a front-line customer service position or administrative duties.
• Some college coursework or an associate degree required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of a language other than English (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent front-line customer service and assist visitors, students, and staff via in-person, phone, email, text, and chat.
• Assist with enrollment activities, including completing applications and forms in person and online.
• Maintain data confidentiality and comply with FERPA.
• Assist with information desks and campus events to inform students about timelines and resources.
• Operate and adapt multiple software tools to manage student flow and interactions.
