Job summary

Polston Tax Resolution & Accounting is seeking an experienced Enrolled Agent to join our tax-resolution team. You will handle a caseload, negotiate resolutions with state and IRS, and work remotely with support from seasoned staff.

The role requires active Enrolled Agent status and at least one year of negotiation experience. You will review clients' finances, research strategies, and communicate updates via email, phone, and video calls.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, active status.
• Minimum of one year’s experience negotiating tax resolutions with the state and/or IRS.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Review a detailed financial analysis of the client’s income, expenses, and assets to determine and/or confirm qualified resolution options.
• Research and develop strategies to defend client’s position while considering their goals.
• Negotiate tax resolutions on behalf of clients with the state and/or IRS.
• Communicate with clients via email/phone/video/mail regarding case updates and expectations.
• Respond timely to client inquiries and requests.
• Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
