Qualifications

• Active EA credential required with 3+ years in tax prep and resolution.
• Experience handling tax notices, audits, and resolutions.
• Experience managing a team or department preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, client-facing ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, business, and entity returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.).
• Represent clients before IRS and state tax authorities on notices, audits, and collections.
• Oversee day-to-day workflow of the Tax Department and ensure deadlines are met.
• Train and mentor tax staff; review work for accuracy and quality.
• Explain tax concepts and resolution options clearly to clients.
