Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking English-speaking Customer Service professionals to provide player support for an international online gaming platform. This is a remote Independent Contractor role based in the Philippines, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

You will respond to player enquiries, assist with accounts, payments and gameplay issues, and help improve customer-service processes. Onboarding begins with a day shift, then rotating rosters with a monthly package up to PHP 30,000

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, chat or email support.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote Independent Contractor role.
• Willing to rotate shifts including midnight, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to player enquiries.
• Provide information on game features, gameplay, promotions, and rules.
• Assist users with accounts, payments, verification, and technical issues.
• Troubleshoot gameplay issues and escalate complex cases.
• Handle player complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Document interactions using the support system.
• Coordinate with technical, development and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor player feedback and identify common problems.
• Stay up-to-date on product changes and promotions.
• Support continuous improvement of customer-service processes.
