Orbital is seeking an Engineering Services Quality Manager for a remote role to harmonize work processes and drive quality across engineering projects. You will own the Quality Management System, lead audits, and collaborate across regions to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of proven experience in a consulting environment or similar setting.
• Experience in oil & gas, power generation or utilities industry; other heavy industrial projects considered.
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and ISO 9001 familiarity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management tools and control principles.
• Excellent presentation and written communication; able to engage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Management System to foster engagement and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate cross-region collaboration to align work processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed quality in design and development.
• Develop training materials and conduct sessions on quality procedures.
• Lead initiatives to improve work processes and templates used by projects.
• Oversee audits across projects to measure standards adherence.
• Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for quality metrics and report to management.
• Interface with suppliers to set quality requirements and perform supplier assessments.
• Prepare monthly Quality Compliance reports for engineering management.
• Solicit feedback on the Quality Management System for continual improvement.
• Investigate customer quality issues and implement preventive actions.
• Document lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
