Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Department within Heavy Industrial Services.

This remote role supports projects across the United States and international locations, coordinating engineering resources and client interfaces. The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, 15+ years in heavy industrial projects, and proven leadership in consulting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE license or equivalent is required.
• 15+ years in heavy industrial engineering projects preferred.
• Leadership experience in consulting engineering environments.
• Proficient with electrical design software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop, supervise and provide technical guidance to the electrical departments.
• Establish and execute operational plans for the department and resources.
• Identify training and career development opportunities for individuals and the department.
• Develop and implement engineering policies, standards and procedures.
• Review project financials and assist in mitigation and corrective actions.
