Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Services Quality Manager in a remote U.S.-based role to harmonize work processes and drive quality across projects.

You will lead the Quality Management System, coordinate cross-functional teams, and develop training to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards. The position requires 10 years’ experience in oil & gas, power generation, or utilities, plus strong project management and communication skills for a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 10 years of proven experience in oil & gas, power generation or Utilities industry; other heavy industrial engineering projects considered.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office and design/business enterprise software.
• Experience with project management tools and project control principles.
• Exceptional presentation, oral, and written communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Management System to foster engagement and value creation while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Facilitate collaboration across regions and departments to improve knowledge sharing and process alignment.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality into design and development processes.
• Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure understanding of quality procedures.
• Lead improvement initiatives on processes and templates used by project teams.
• Oversee audits across projects and measure adherence to quality requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Establish KPIs to track quality metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
• Interface with suppliers to establish quality requirements and perform supplier quality assessments.
• Prepare monthly reports on Quality Compliance for management.
• Solicit feedback on the Quality Management System for revisions.
• Investigate customer quality complaints and implement preventative measures.
