Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Engineering to lead capital and technical initiatives that improve plant reliability, capacity, safety, and efficiency across multiple facilities.

You will oversee site master plans, manage capital budgets, and ensure on-time project delivery within scope. The role demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with sanitary design and process technology in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of capital project management experience, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, is required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple capital projects totaling approximately $6M per year is required.
• Track record of driving measurable improvements in KPIs such as cost reduction, equipment uptime, and material loss is required.
• Knowledge of sanitary equipment design and technology used in food processing is required.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital project execution across multiple facilities, including design, procurement, scheduling, construction, commissioning, validation, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain 2–3 year capital master plans aligned with plant priorities.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders and contractors, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Interface with OEMs, contractors, government agencies, and co-manufacturers.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Develop team capability through mentoring and leadership.
• Support site maintenance initiatives and cost-saving projects.
