Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Project Manager, Engineering to lead capital and technical initiatives across multiple facilities, focusing on reliability, capacity, safety, and efficiency. You will oversee site master plans, capital budgets, and on-time project delivery while guiding cross-functional teams and coordinating with contractors and suppliers.

You will ensure sanitary design, join site safety standards, and mentor indirect reports and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of capital project management experience is required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent capital projects totaling approximately $6M per year is required.
• Track record of driving measurable improvements in KPIs such as cost reduction, equipment uptime, and material loss is required.
• Knowledge of sanitary equipment design and technology used in food processing is required.
• Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects across multiple facilities to improve reliability, capacity, safety, and efficiency.
• Develop 2–3 year capital master plans aligned with business priorities.
• Manage capital project execution from design through closeout, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Interface with OEMs, contractors, government agencies, and co-manufacturers to drive projects.
• Develop team capability by mentoring indirect reports and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Support site maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
