Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Engineering to lead capital and technical initiatives across multiple plants, improving reliability, capacity, safety and efficiency. You’ll manage site master plans, capital budgets and ensure on-time project delivery within scope.

The role requires 3–5 years of capital project experience, knowledge of sanitary design, and strong cross-functional leadership. Remote work is possible from facilities near major airports in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 3–5 years capital project management experience.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects totaling ~ $6M per year.
• Track record of driving improvements in KPIs: cost reduction, uptime, material loss.
• Knowledge of sanitary equipment design and technology used in food processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital project management across multiple facilities.
• Develop and execute 2–3 year capital master plans.
• Lead development of project scopes, screening estimates, business cases, approvals.
• Manage capital project execution (design, procurement, scheduling, construction, commissioning, validation, closeout).
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and contractors, resolving issues and driving alignment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support maintenance initiatives (Progressive, Breakdown Elimination, Autonomous Maintenance).
• Contribute to cost savings and efficiency through sustainability and continuous improvement projects.
• Serve as SME for sanitary design and process technology.
• Develop team capability through mentoring and leadership to indirect reports and contractors.
• Interface with OEMs, contractors, government agencies, and co-manufacturers.
• Participate in Plant Steering Teams and lead site-level project teams.
• Support accuracy of project reporting, forecasting and documentation.
