Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking anEngineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 engineers across backend, frontend, QA, and AQA. You will own end-to-end feature delivery from requirements to release and drive the development process, including sprint planning and DoR/DoD.

You will collaborate with Product Management to prioritize backlog and ensure service reliability through monitoring, incident reviews, and postmortems.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of commercial development experience in .NET / Java / Python.
• 1+ year of experience leading a cross-functional team.
• Understanding of microservice architecture: REST / gRPC, RabbitMQ / Kafka.
• Observability: logging, metrics, tracing (ELK, Grafana, DataDog or similar).
• Agile practices (Scrum / Kanban).

Aufgaben

• Lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 engineers (backend, frontend, QA, AQA).
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, from requirements to release.
• Run the team’s development process: sprint planning, estimation, decomposition, DoR/DoD.
• Take part in feature design and technical decision-making.
• Ensure the reliability of the team’s services: monitoring, alerting, incident reviews, postmortems.
• Partner with the Product Manager on backlog prioritization.
