Kraken is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Growth Platform to lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers delivering growth-critical systems and features. You will align engineering with product goals, set expectations, and maintain clear communications across time zones.

This fully remote role is open to candidates in EU and EST US/LATAM timezones. You’ll stay hands-on in the codebase, drive architectural decisions, leverage AI tools, and help the team move fast while keeping quality

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional team of engineers delivering growth-critical systems and features.
• Collaborate daily with Product and Design to define scope, set priorities, and ensure seamless execution.
• Keep projects moving forward with clear expectations, realistic estimates, and transparent communication.
• Provide technical guidance and context for sound architectural decisions.
• Foster accountability, trust, and learning to grow team impact and autonomy.
• Improve team processes and collaboration across time zones.
• Partner with other engineering leaders to ensure consistency across Growth.
• Leverage AI tooling daily to boost personal and team productivity.
• Stay hands-on in the codebase, writing production-grade code and upholding quality.
