CRIO is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple engineering teams. You will report to the VP of Engineering and drive execution while maintaining technical excellence and team health.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, blockers removal, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will influence architectural decisions and coach engineers for career growth in a fully remote US-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in engineering management.
• Strong technical background to engage in architectural discussions.
• Proven track record of establishing and improving development processes.
• Experience coaching and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Own the day-to-day operations of multiple engineering teams, ensuring consistent processes and efficient delivery cycles.
• Planning & Delivery: Lead quarterly planning and cross-team sprint planning to align with business objectives.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews, set goals, and drive professional growth.
• Team Development: Hire and mentor high-performing engineers and foster continuous improvement.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Align priorities and technical approaches across the engineering organization.
