Block is seeking an Engineering Manager for Finance & Supply Chain Engineering to lead a high-performing team building mission-critical systems. You will shape a greenfield platform, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Compliance, Product, and Operations to automate workflows and improve decision-making.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership or people-management role.
• Experience delivering large-scale financial and/or supply chain systems.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Tax, Compliance, Product, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering team focused on finance and supply chain platforms.
• Shape a greenfield platform with clear operating model, patterns, and long-term architecture.
• Define architecture, roadmap, and execution plans with cross-functional partners.
• Translate business needs into technical priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure delivery of well-tested, observable, secure, and scalable systems.
