Job summary

Super.com is seeking a senior leader to run Finance Automation within Data Engineering. You will manage a 5+ person team handling GL feeds, month-end close, and related financial data workflows, partnering with Accounting and Engineering.

In a remote-first environment, you will shape roadmaps, guide data-centric initiatives, and mentor teammates while delivering high-quality data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a data or analytics engineer and 2+ years in people leadership.
• 5+ years building production data pipelines and warehouse models with SQL and dbt.
• Experience owning financial data for GL feeds, month-end close, audits and payments.
• Track record of designing scalable data solutions for large-scale challenges.
• Strong database design and warehouse data modeling, scheduling and orchestration.
• Ability to translate ambiguous stakeholder requests into concrete plans with clear ownership.
• Clear communication with accountants and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a full-stack team of 5+ data/analytics engineers and contribute to hiring.
• Lead end-to-end high-impact, data-driven projects in a startup environment.
• Shape the technical roadmap and drive agile engineering processes.
• Mentor team members and ensure growth opportunities and quality work.
• Ensure high release quality with code reviews and end-to-end tests.
• Contribute technically on complex components and services as needed.
