Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the East Region's engineering team—managers, engineers, and energy analysts. You will be accountable for the region's budget and strategic direction, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget while developing the team and services.

You will oversee contracts and proposals, craft region-wide staffing plans, provide technical oversight for all work in the territory, and partner with regional VPs to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years of engineering team management.
• Engineering degree required.
• PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineering managers, engineers, and energy analysts with accountability for overall budget and strategic direction.
• Oversee engineering aspects of contracts and proposals.
• Develop region-wide engineering staffing plan (types and quantities of hires, reporting structure).
• Technical oversight for all work within assigned territory; including impact evaluation results.
• Responsibility to regional VPs for timely and high-quality execution of technical work.
• Significant responsibility for supporting business development; lead complex BD work.
• Accountable for growth in capabilities of engineering team and coordination with other engineering teams.
• Proactively identify and resolve problems that impact long-term objectives and direction of the business.
• Create formal networks and serve as an internal and external spokesperson for the engineering team.
