Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Regional Engineering Director to provide executive leadership across a dispersed portfolio. This role drives operational excellence, technical consistency, and accountable performance across engineering operations.

You will develop Regional Directors, strengthen governance, and move teams toward proactive performance improvements. You will engage with site leaders, manage major projects, and support life-safety and reliability programs while

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering leadership in complex environments.
• Experience leading regional engineering leaders across large portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, life-safety, and risk management.
• Ability to translate observations into improvement plans.
• Experience overseeing major projects, outages, and maintenance ops.
• Establish performance frameworks and hold leaders accountable.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel ~50% for field engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Regional Engineering Directors across regions.
• Conduct regular operational and performance reviews for engineering operations.
• Drive proactive field engagement with Chief Engineers and site teams.
• Oversee governance processes: inspections, audits, corrective actions, scorecards.
• Provide senior oversight for major projects, upgrades, outages, and high-risk events.
• Support emergency response efforts as senior escalation resource.
• Partner with Programs & Performance teams to ensure standards are implemented.
• Identify gaps and support leadership development and succession planning.
• Promote accountability, safety, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
