Job summary

McGraw Hill in the United States is seeking an associate editor to acquire, develop, and optimize content sets for AccessEngineering, and to sign and maintain engineering print titles. This remote role collaborates with technical communities, manages administrative functions of the Engineering product team, and supports program growth through conferences and campus visits.

You will work with authors to shape manuscripts to our production standards and ensure timely delivery of content.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years of related administrative, content development and/or acquisitions support experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to translate engineering communities' needs into content development.
• Ability to work with authors through the publishing process to get manuscripts ready.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage development of print titles and digital content sets for AccessEngineering annually.
• Coordinate administrative functions of the Engineering product team (title setup, publishing schedule, PO creation, payments).
• Develop deep understanding of the AccessEngineering product to guide content development.
• Network with technical communities through conferences and campus visits to inform market knowledge and growth.
• Articulate programs, projects, content, and strategy through strong written and oral communication.
