McGraw-Hill is seeking a Basic Science Editor to take strategic and operational ownership of Basic Science print and digital titles, including Mortuary Science and the Lange Q&A Series. This is a remote role open to applicants authorized to work in the United States.

You will set the strategic course for the basic science list, manage high-profile author teams, drive product development, and collaborate across departments while embracing AI tools as part of our AI strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7–10+ years in editorial content development.
• Experience in medical publishing and digital content development.
• Proven ability to manage high-profile author teams and lead complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic course for the basic sciences.
• Oversee the Basic Science list and Lange Q&A Series, including Ganong, Katzung, Junquira, Harpers.
• Establish key contacts in basic sciences to gather reviews and feedback.
• Conduct student focus groups to align with student needs.
• Leverage AI technologies as part of the AI strategy for basic sciences.
• Develop revision plans for core titles and propose new projects.
