Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a senior editorial leader to set the strategic course for basic science titles and to oversee classic texts such as Ganong, Katzung, Junquira, and Harpers. You will drive digital content development and product management, working with author teams and cross‑functional partners.

You will also lead the Lange Q&A Series, establish expert contacts, and conduct student focus groups to stay attuned to learner needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7–10+ years in editorial content development and acquisitions.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital content development and product management.
• Proven ability to manage high‑profile author teams and lead product initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, partner management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication, planning, and execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic course for basic science titles and oversee classic texts including Ganong, Katzung, Junquira, and Harpers.
• Oversee the Basic Science and Lange Q&A Series and establish key contacts for reviews and trends.
• Regularly run student focus groups to align with learner needs and market dynamics.
• Lead active involvement with AI technology such as AI Reader as part of MHP AI Strategy.
• Develop revision plans for core 15–20 titles and propose new projects with 2–3 year timelines.
