Job summary

Feeding America in Indianapolis is seeking an Engagement Manager to grow and service FCC customer relationships across a national remote-capable role. You will develop account plans, engage customers, and coordinate with Quote and Supply Chain Specialists to deliver quotes and orders.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, market knowledge, and execution of growth opportunities within the food banking network and with other organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food distribution and food banking is preferred.
• Prior sales and account management experience is desirable.
• Experience with CRM systems and creating reports.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to meet sales and retention goals.
• Engage customers to understand needs and connect them with FCC products.
• Provide timely responses and ongoing account support.
• Research new business opportunities within the food banking network.
• Collaborate to develop quotes and proposals aligned with pricing and terms.
• Present proposals, negotiate within guidelines, secure commitments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to communicate requirements and track orders.
• Visit customer locations to analyze operations and growth opportunities.
• Represent FCC at conferences, events, and webinars to promote offerings.
• Build relationships with Feeding America and partner organizations.
