Job summary

Trina Storage North America, the U.S. energy storage division of Trina Solar, seeks a Project Engineer to drive cross‑functional engineering projects from concept to completion. You will develop schedules, manage documentation, and report progress to ensure on‑time launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project engineering and management, preferably with technical sales of utility-scale solar, wind, or energy storage systems.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines and resource needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align objectives and deliverables.
• Create and maintain schedule templates for project phases and product development.
• Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles affecting timelines.
• Manage vendor pre-qualification and internal engineering/procurement interactions.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to teams.
