Job summary

Trina Storage North America is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel to project sites, commission systems, perform maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and provide top-tier customer support. The role requires experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field, with solar/renewables background preferred.

Expect up to 75% travel and on-site work across multiple projects. The candidate will report to the Field Service Manager, with standard hours Mon-Fri and occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a field service role or equivalent.
• Experience as a technician or engineer is required.
• Prior solar or renewable energy industry experience preferred, or similar.
• Must have the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive maximum technical support to Energy Storage customers.
• Document site visits and product analysis for continuous improvement of procedures.
• Lead the execution of system commissioning.
• Engage in field dispatches as needed by key customers.
• Participate in partner product training programs and become certified.
• Engage in technical discussions with inverter and EMS partners to troubleshoot.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
