The Senior Compliance Engineer will lead product compliance efforts by ensuring designs meet applicable regulatory and safety standards, managing testing and third-party certifications, and validating products for global markets. This role partners cross-functionally to drive project execution, mitigate compliance risks, develop processes and documentation, and communicate progress while supporting business growth and regulatory excellence. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with experience in utility-scale solar, wind or energy storage projects. This position reports to the Head of Product & Engineering, or another senior management personnel that the Vice President of the Company may designate.
This is a remote position. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm Local Time. Regular evening or early morning (outside normal working hours) work may be required, for example to coordinate with our global headquarters based in China, or as other business circumstances dictate. This position is expected to travel up to 20% of the time, as needed.
