Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a capable Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single project from planning through closeout. The role collaborates across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement in a fully remote setup.

Location details will be discussed in interviews. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of energy storage construction experience and a background in engineering, construction management, or architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience 5–8 years (Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to coordinate remote teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Preconstruction Project activities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and manage payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system for project.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write and implement project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Coordinate procurement with LNTP scope and schedules.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction and legal teams to define scopes of work.
• Track design changes impacting schedule or budget and report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Provide timely reporting on cost forecasting and cost at completion.
• Develop risk mitigation plans with project team.
