Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager for a fully remote role. You will lead a complex storage project, coordinating engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement while reporting to the Project Executive.

Expect collaboration across multiple departments and robust cost control and forecasting processes. The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in energy storage construction or similar, and proven ability to manage remote teams and procurements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
• Leadership ability to coordinate remote teams and diverse backgrounds
• Effective written and verbal communications; strong organizational skills
• Strong MS Office and Bluebeam Revu skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee an energy storage project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements; prepare billings and expedite payments
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system and project data
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids
• Write project procedures and reviews plans for completeness/accuracy
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, estimating and legal to define contract scopes of work and LNTP deliverables
• Monitor schedule/budget changes and report forecasts to project leadership
