Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a remote Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a cross-functional project team across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout documentation. You will oversee cost control, procedures, and collaboration with departments to define scopes of work and ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Engineering/Construction Mgmt or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Willing to travel ~25%.
• Ability to lead remote diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Write project procedures
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
• Collaborate with multiple departments to create contract scopes of work
• Understand design constraints and material lead-times for long lead items during LNTP phase
• Research and understand project design requirements
• Track changes impacting schedule/budget and report to Project Executive
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations
• Maintain timely reporting: cost forecasting and EAC
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owner, Engineers, Vendors and Subcontractors
