Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to provide leadership and oversight to a single project across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout documentation.

The role is fully remote in the United States, requiring collaboration with multiple departments to ensure procurement, design constraints, and lead times are managed effectively throughout the LNTP phase.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to manage remote teams and diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to an individual project across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and closeout documentation.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Define and create LNTPs.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
