Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager. This fully remote role requires coordinating with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to lead LNTP activities and ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage construction experience.
• Field experience (5-8 years) as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Leadership in remote team environments.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Preconstruction Project Manager scope.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise Preconstruction staff and ensure procurement aligns with budget and schedule.
• Collaborate across departments to define contract scopes of work.
• Track design constraints and long lead procurement for LNTP phase.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC; manage project risk.
