Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a fully remote Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to oversee individual projects across our nationwide portfolio. The role collaborates with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and legal to plan, organize, and direct project work, including LNTP creation and long-lead procurement management.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in construction, energy storage experience, and strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Preconstruction projects for energy storage initiatives.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction and legal teams to define contract scopes.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement on design constraints and lead times for long-lead items.
• Define and create LNTPs and assess design requirements.
• Track schedule/budget impact with Engineering Manager and report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Provide timely cost forecasting and EAC reporting to project team.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with management and team.
