Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Remote Preconstruction Project Manager to lead and oversee a single project, coordinating across engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement with a focus on cost control and timely reporting.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to create contracts, manage LNTPs, and ensure design constraints are met, while guiding engineers and support staff in a remote team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Energy Storage Construction experience
• 5-8 years field experience (Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
• 5+ years construction experience
• 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Prepare billings and expedite payments
• Set up and maintain CMiC system
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids
• Write project procedures
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy
• Supervise/train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, schedules
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction and legal for contract scopes
• Coordinate design constraints and lead-times for LNTP items
• Define and create LNTPs
• Understand design requirements (internal/owner/permit)
• Liaise with Engineering Manager on schedule/budget changes
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC
• Manage project risk with mitigation plans
• Build strong owner/vendor/subcontractor relationships
