esVolta is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the evaluation of energy storage development, investment, and financing opportunities. You will work in the Investment & Analytics team on financial modeling, project analysis, and decision support, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes building and maintaining models, forecasting costs and revenues, and assisting with capital raising activities.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience using AI tools to streamline financial analysis and improve deliverables.

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of financial models for energy storage projects.
Prepare financial forecasts including capital costs, revenues, operating expenses, and financing assumptions.
Validate data used in financial models and analyses.
Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate risks and opportunities.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Research energy market trends and evaluate new project opportunities.
Monitor project performance against forecasts and improve models.
Assist with capital raising initiatives, including tax equity and debt financing.
