Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Referral Specialist in Greenfield, MA for the Energy Programs department. You will screen participants for weatherization, energy audits, and heating system repairs, manage intake, and coordinate with partner resources.

The role includes data entry, eligibility determinations, and maintaining participant files. The position emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with remote work options available

Qualifications

Two years of customer service & office experience in a social services or related field.
Experience with data management, data capture, and tracking methods.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, Haitian Creole, and/or Russian is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Answer the Energy Referrals phone line with screening, information, referrals, and scheduling.
Use program systems to record interactions and track referrals.
Update multiple databases as information becomes available.
Follow guidelines for database systems (e.g., Monday.com, SharePoint, Excel).
Gather information to determine client eligibility for Energy programs.
Provide production support and follow-up services as per guidelines.
Maintain organized participant files and ensure grant eligibility.
