Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager – Energy Sector to lead market expansion across the energy value chain and translate advanced materials into scalable commercial opportunities.

The role focuses on identifying high-growth energy applications, developing market-entry strategies, and forging long-term partnerships with key customers. Remote in the Americas with significant travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or related field.
10+ years of business development or commercial leadership experience.
Strong energy market experience (oil & gas, power, renewables, infrastructure).
Proven success creating new markets and commercializing new applications.
Ability to build relationships with senior executives and procurement teams.
Willingness to travel 60–70% and operate across the Americas.

Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize high-growth applications for energy markets and materials.
Develop and execute market-entry and growth strategies for targeted energy applications.
Build strategic customer relationships with OEMs, EPC firms, and energy operators.
Lead cross-functional solution development with Engineering, R&D, and Product teams.
Manage a robust pipeline and drive contract negotiations and commercial terms.
