Job summary

Prism Vision Group is seeking a remote EMR Operations Partner to translate clinical and business needs into system requirements and configurations, and to drive value from enterprise EMR platforms.

You will own vendor relationships, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolutions while supporting HIPAA compliance and data security in a healthcare environment. This role focuses on platform stability, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience supporting a complex EMR in healthcare or ambulatory care.
• Ability to translate clinical and business needs into system requirements and workflow designs.
• Experience owning vendor relationships and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data security/privacy requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking and cross-functional communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technology partner to clinical and business operations on EMR configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Own the vendor relationship, manage escalations, track resolutions, and uphold vendor timelines and SLAs.
• Identify opportunities to maximize EMR value through feature utilization, workflow redesign, and new modules.
• Coordinate testing of EMR releases and patches with vendors and internal teams.
• Pull EMR reports to support billing, clinical decision-making, and operational reporting.
• Map upstream/downstream impacts before go-lives and support go-lives with cross-functional teams.
• Provide hands-on day-to-day EMR support, triaging tickets and ensuring regulatory compliance.
