Job summary

PRISM Vision Group is seeking an EMR-focused Operations Partner who translates clinical and business needs into system configurations and workflows. You will own vendor relationships, ensure HIPAA compliance, and drive proactive EMR value across Athena, SIS, and Nextech platforms.

This remote role supports eastern time hours and champions data-driven improvements. You’ll collaborate with clinical leadership and administration to optimize EMR configurations, test updates, and deliver measurable

Qualifications

Proven hands-on EMR experience in healthcare.
Translate clinical and operational needs into system requirements.
Experience owning vendor relationships and SLAs.
Knowledge of HIPAA and data security in EMR context.
Analytical, systems-thinking with strong communication.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technology partner to clinical and ops leaders for EMR.
Manage EMR vendor relationships, escalations, and timelines.
Identify opportunities to optimize EMR usage and workflows.
Lead testing of EMR releases and patches with internal teams.
Pull EMR data to support billing and clinical decision-making.
Map upstream/downstream impacts before go-lives and upgrades.
Provide day-to-day EMR support and maintain data integrity and HIPAA compliance.
