You will defend employers in state and federal labor and employment litigation, draft pleadings, take depositions, and develop case strategy while coordinating with clients and partners to advance business goals. Mentoring and business development support accompany career growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of employment defense experience.
• Experience representing employers.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Outgoing and confident client-facing personality.
• Wage-and-hour experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in state and federal employment litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Develop case strategy and assess litigation risk.
• Represent clients in wage-and-hour and discrimination matters.
• Communicate directly with employer clients.
• Work closely with experienced labor and employment partners.
