Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in San Jose is seeking an Employment Defense Associate with 2-5 years of experience. The role offers California matters, direct client exposure, and a path toward partnership, with remote possibilities.

You will work closely with senior litigators, draft pleadings, manage discovery, and help grow the employment practice while earning up to $200K DOE. Qualified candidates will have California bar admission and strong advocacy skills, with opportunities for significant

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of legal experience
• Active California Bar admission in good standing
• Employment Defense and Litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with senior attorneys
• Plaintiff-side experience considered where there is meaningful Employment Defense experience

Responsibilities

• Handle California Employment Defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Assist with developing litigation strategy and advising employer clients.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs and other substantive legal documents.
• Manage written discovery and take on increasing responsibility for depositions, hearings and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and develop case-specific legal analysis.
• Communicate directly with clients and contribute to long-term client relationships.
• Take increasing ownership of Employment Litigation matters as your experience develops.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Employment practice.
