Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. in the United States seeks a People Relations Partner to provide hands-on partnership in Employee Relations, investigations, ADA, policy interpretation and legal compliance. The role reports to the Senior Manager, People Relations and has no direct reports.

The position emphasizes advising on HR policies, conducting investigations, and collaborating with Legal and HR Business Partners to resolve issues. Remote-friendly with up to 50% travel to project sites in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Experience in Employee Relations and investigations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to interpret policies and guide managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide partnership and support to stakeholders on HR policies, processes, procedures, laws and regulations.
• Research and identify concerns and coordinating problem resolution.
• Develop processes to proactively address employee concerns, increase engagement, and reduce turnover.
• Stay current on compliance initiatives and guide managers on discipline and terminations; collaborate with Legal.
• Conduct HR investigations, document findings, and provide input for corrective action plans.
• Manage investigation tracking system and work with HR Business Partners and Compliance.
• Support ER training and provide needs assessments to inform objectives.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree; Juris Doctor, preferred

HR training/certification in Investigations, preferred
