Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Southern California.

You will manage an assigned book of employee benefits clients while supporting producers with new business, renewals, and ongoing service. The role focuses on servicing employer clients with fully insured and level-funded plans, ensuring smooth renewals, accurate plan administration, and proactive client support

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with benefits administration platforms and enrollment processes.
• Experience negotiating rates and plan terms with carriers.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of employee benefits accounts.
• Prepare pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing reports.
• Compare plan designs, benefits and pricing across carriers.
• Calculate employee contribution strategies aligned with client budgets.
• Develop and maintain annual client service plans.
• Conduct open enrollment meetings, health fairs, and virtual presentations.
• Coordinate data for benefits technology and enrollment platforms.
• Draft client communications and compliance notices.
• Support producers with materials and deadlines.
