Job summary

WAHVE is seeking experienced professionals with extensive insurance and employee benefits knowledge to work from home in Account Manager roles. You will manage client relationships, coordinate RFPs, analyze carrier proposals, and prepare plan designs and descriptions.

Open enrollment support and claims resolution are part of the duties. This remote, long-term opportunity offers full or part-time schedules and company benefits, enabling seasoned benefits experts to retire from the office but stay

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 most current years of health and employee benefits experience.
• Experience working directly for a retail or wholesale benefits broker or insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Managing client relationships and servicing client needs.
• Sending requests for proposals to carriers.
• Analyzing carrier proposals and negotiating a competitive program for new and renewal business.
• Preparing spreadsheets of recommended plan designs and rates.
• Preparing proposals, summary plan descriptions, and benefit guides.
• Assisting with census and open enrollment information.
• Resolving claims and billing issues.
