Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking an Embedded Systems Product Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for mission-critical embedded platforms. This remote, 6-month role requires expert troubleshooting across RTOS, Linux, and networking, with collaboration across Product Management and Engineering.

You will reproduce environments in labs, debug real-time systems, document findings, and mentor junior staff while supporting premium customers and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems, RTOS, Linux, platform engineering or related fields.
• Customer-facing troubleshooting, engineering, consulting, or professional-services experience.
• Experience diagnosing issues across hardware, OS, networking, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, customer-facing technical support for embedded and intelligent-edge platforms.
• Investigate, reproduce, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across OS, hardware, software, networking, virtualization, and tools.
• Reproduce customer environments in internal labs and conduct thorough investigations.
• Debug real-time and embedded environments and analyze multi-layer interactions.
• Own issues from initial investigation through resolution and communicate progress to customers.
• Coordinate resolution efforts with CS, PM, Engineering and other teams.
• Create knowledge-base articles and troubleshooting guides.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal training.
• Support premium customers and participate in customer engagements as required.
