Job summary

Software Technology Inc. seeks a senior embedded support engineer with deep experience in VxWorks, RTOS kernels, and Wind River platforms to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer issues.

You will reproduce customer environments, analyze OS/hardware interactions, and lead investigations while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of technical experience in embedded, RTOS, Linux, platform engineering, or closely related domains.
• Customer-facing troubleshooting, engineering, consulting, or professional-services experience.
• Strong debugging capability across hardware, operating-system, networking, and application layers.
• Ability to lead investigations, mentor others, and make independent technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot embedded, RTOS, and hardware interactions in customer environments.
• Own customer resolutions by communicating with customers, managing escalations, and documenting findings.
• Scale team knowledge by creating reusable knowledge-based content and mentoring engineers.
