CS Group USA is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Development Engineer with real-time embedded expertise to lead requirements, design, and development for safety-critical airborne systems. The role supports DO-178 objectives and offers remote flexibility with onsite hybrid options in CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in embedded software development.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end software development activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems from concept to integration.
• Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Ensure DO-178 objectives are satisfied through audits, reviews and data package development.
• Define and defend technical decisions to stakeholders while guiding implementation and conducting design reviews.
• Capture high-level and low-level requirements accurately and effectively.
• Translate requirements into design and code with precision.
• Support schedules and quality objectives while communicating status to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
